Our Farm

Kitayama Wagyu Beef is not organic, but it is all natural. The farm tries to be as sustainable as it can.  The follow the following practices:
- rotational grazing to manage the pastures
- we utilize the manure produced to fertilize the pastures
- we also add limestone to the pastures from time to time
- we follow humane animal handling practices
- we mostly use horses in the ranch and to drive cattle
- we have a reforestation program to protect the watershed
- we produce our own grass for our feeders
- the feedlot manure is used to fertilize our forage plantation

They also make sure that they slaughter the animals as humanely as possible, following the designs and principles of Temple Gradin in our operations.
